DJI Mavic Air is the latest mini drone in the consumer range from DJI. The similarities with Mavic Pro are many, but there are a lot of new features that differentiate them, making Mavic Air one of the most sophisticated in the DJI's range at the moment.

3-axis image stabilization
DJI Mavic Air is the smallest drone in the range that has a mechanical 3-axis image stabilization. It helps and ensures that your footage becomes soft and shakeless when you are flying. Image stabilization not only helps while capturing video, but also helps to shoot while reducing noise and blurred images.
Take amazing pictures
Mavic Air has a 1/2.3" 12-megapixel CMOS sensor which, together with the camera's 24mm (equivalent 35mm camera) f/2.8 lens, delivers stunning images and video. With a brand new HDR algorithm, it's easier to capture scenes with a high dynamic range. Mavic Air can also automatically capture 360-degree panoramic 32-megapixel images. The drone takes 25 images in 8 seconds and puts them together into a merged image.
Better video features
Despite its compact size, Mavic Air can record video at 4K 30fps with 100 Mbps in H.264. This is 40 Mbps more than Mavic Pro, which ultimately gives a higher video quality. There is also the possibility to record slow motion at 1080p in 120fps and 2.7k for up to 60fps.
Smoother than ever
DJI has once again proved that it is possible to develop dronew without compromising on technology and features. Mavic Air has a really high industrial finish, and the propellers do not need to be folded in, but still get about half the size of DJI Mavic Pro in recessed mode. The fact that it also manages to fly in winds up to 10 m/s is impressive. The 3-axis boom is nicely integrated, and it also helps to protect it better in the event of a collision. The hand control is slightly changed compared to Mavic Pro, where the joysticks can be dismantled.
New smart shooting modes
With Mavic Air you can create amazing material. DJI has so-called intelligent flight modes, and in Mavic Air a number of new innovative modes has been added. ActiveTrack is recognized from previous models, where image analysis can track objects. With Mavic Air you can now follow up to sixteen items at the same time. In SmartCapture mode, you can fly the drone with hand movements. In QuickShots mode, Astroid and Bumerang mode has been added. Everything to make the flight as simple as possible, and not limit your creativity.
With a new intelligent flight system, FlightAutonomy 2.0, the flying with Mavic Air becomes safer. Most cameras and sensors ensure that Mavic Air can prevent obstacles by stopping or flying around them. Return To Home has also improved, and performs better than ever before.
